It provides necessary background needed for numerical computing in various mathematical and engineering disciplines. The students are expected to know computer programming to be able to write programs for the solution of Mathematical problems. It is a pre-requisite for many engineering courses. Knowledge of Calculus and linear algebra would help in learning these methods.

Integral Equations

At the end of this course the students will be able to understand the importance of integral equations as many physical problems that are usually solved by differential equation methods can be solved more effectively by integral equation methods.
